Toynes is a delightful site situated on level ground surrounded by high trees.
The site has undergone significant investment and there are now ten hookup points, giving plenty of choice as to where to pitch. There are three water points incorporating six taps in the field. A septic tank with a chemical toilet emptying point and a separate grey waste water point has been installed. There is a Wi-Fi point with good reception. There is a fairly large hardstanding area with particular attention given to access to the field and underground drainage.
In March 2025 the entrance and access drive was widened considerably to allow easy access for large 8’ wide caravans and similar motorhomes
Although the site is situated next to the main road into Fowey it is sheltered by the trees and is quiet and peaceful with plenty of early morning and evening birdsong. There is a pleasant dog walk down to an orchard on site. The bus stop to Fowey is just 150 yards away at the Castledore crossroads. The villages of Golant and Tywardreath are both within a mile and a half and each has a pub providing meals.
